The fact that several physical illnesses and chronic diseases are caused or escalated by mental health concerns, and both has caused several people under existential trauma to deny the love, power and existence of God, is enough for me to pick interest in my journey as a professional Christian Therapist.

About me in brief ..

Christian Therapist Olufunke Lawrence has over twenty years broad experience in church ministry, majoring in evangelism, Intercession and pastoral counseling. Since 2023, she has majored on pastoral counseling and care focusing on trauma, addiction, depression, and major Neuropsychiatric Disorders.

Academically, she has a PGD in Missiology (Nigeria) and a Masters of Arts in Christian Counselling (USA). Her quest to detangle the negative impact of mental health concerns on the average Christian, led to study ten other international certificate courses from various continents ranging from theology to mental health, sex education, addiction (alcohol, drugs and substances) recovery, trauma informed care, weight and nutrition, post partum psychosis and depression, suicide and homicide therapies..

She's a missionary and a regular interdenominational guest minister in churches, remands, orphanages and schools. A lover of the undiluted truth in the bible whose passion for the church of God as a whole, especially children, teenagers, youths and family ministry onsite , online and off-site is known to all .

Online and onsite invitations are welcomed, including therapy sessions bookings. I use a God-centered approach with the values of the bible combined with professionalism.

My Ministerial and Academic profile at a glance.

I am Pastor / Christian Therapist Olufunke Yetunde Lawrence. I'm privileged to have a fivefold ministry from God and also cross cultural Christian Therapist. I have consistently followed Jesus Christ since my salvation experience in MFM Prayer City in June 2002. I currently have over twenty years experience in various capacities in ministry , including evangelism, intercession, pastoral counseling and leadership positions. An interdenominational vessel of God and a regular guest minister.

After my salvation experience in 2002, I got baptized in the Holy Ghost in September 2003, and was called to ministry by God in a divine encounter on November 16th 2004 . She joined MFM SW REGION 2, Ojoo, Ibadan, Oyo state in September 2002 and served as a prison evangelist and an Intercesor in the Jericho Destroyer group being the assistant group leader. I later joined RCCG and became a full-time missionary pastor (2008-2011) under Lagos Province 22 (now Region 26) .

Since January 2012, i have been an independent vessel of God in various capacities and has covered seven different states in Nigeria as a pioneer, evangelist, revivalist, and a pastoral counselor onsite, online, outdoor, on the TV and in radio stations.

Academically, I hold a National Diploma in Business Studies from Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun state, Nigeria (1998), an Higher National Diploma in Marketing from The Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria (2001), and a PGD in Missiology from The Redeemed College and School of Missions, Ede, Osun state, Nigeria (2008). I also did my School of Discipleship in RCCG , Nigeria in 2010.

I completed my Professional Certificate in Counselling and Professional Diploma in Relationship , Couple and Family counseling here in Nigeria in 2023, to enable her serve even as a trained social worker outside Nigeria. Alongside these, I completed my Masters of Arts in Christian Counselling (online from Florida, USA) in 2024 .

Before coming to full-time ministry in 2008, I worked as a field marketing executive, subject teacher, classroom teacher, headteacher, and established few enterpreneural endeavors I had to put aside for the sake of ministry.

I have been privileged by God's grace to have a broad ministry spanning over twenty years of active missions (including street , prison, hospital , campus, schools , market , online and radio evangelism) orphanages, single mums and widow welfare ministry . As a pastoral counselor, I'm involved in church pastoring , administration, leadership , training , children, teenagers, youths, Premarital and Couples seminars.

I am an author ,singer, composer , interdenominational guest speaker (including international zoom invites) and also a Yoruba and Pidgin English interpreter. My love for evangelism, mentoring, intersession, revivals ,crusades , seminars, and children, teenagers and youth ministry is known by all.

I have been active in pastoral counseling and care from 2005 to 2023 until the Lord instructed me to go and train to be equipped for professional counselling and care. To this effect, I am a sought after in Trauma, Addictions and Depression Christian Therapies in rehabs, remands, Orphanages, and everywhere including schools, churches, radio and TV stations. All her therapy sessions and invites are marked with successes. Her focus is on Isaiah 61:1 and on the mission to make known the possibility of an Eightfold Dimensions of Wellness regardless of who or where yearning hearts sends for her or finds her.

I am officially registered in Nigeria as a Christian Therapist and has the desire to start her PhD in Christian Clinical Counselling with major emphasis on Neuropsychiatric Disorders, Trauma and Addictions Recovery. I am optimistic that my country Nigeria, my continent, Africa, and the world at large would yet know that PTGs can be the outcomes of the unpleasantness of life instead of PTSDs (Romans 8:28)

I focus on the eightfold dimensions of wellness using the integrative holistic approach. My anchor scripture is Isaiah 61:1 . I practice without compromising biblical truths regardless of the theories, theologies and therapies available for professionalism. I use the God-centered approach and uncompromising bible values.

Diabetes and Depression Awareness

As I received this certificate from Bangkok in December2024, I was super excited! I picked interest in Diabetes training when I discovered during my Brain Science in Trauma Informed Care (USA)that it is not primarily caused by sugary things!

You are taking medications and injections for your diabetes, but have you seen a therapist who would help you trace it to trauma and walk you through the needed emotional healing you need, which would speed up the physical health you are striving and praying for?
